<비단감옥>은 비정상의 떼 안에서의 정상을 향한 열망을 적극적으로 드러내면서 동시에 완벽하게 어느쪽에도 속하지 못한 채 욕망하기만 하는 유령들을 그린다. 그들은 유려한 비단에 감싸여 벗어날 수 없음을 반복하면서 스스로가 감옥 되기를 수행한다. 작가는 스스로 퀴어임을 선언한 신체들의 짜부러짐과 부풀림을 담아내고, 그들을 정상적으로 되돌리기 위한 기계적인 과정을 거친 후 다시 반으로 쪼개어 선보인다.

<bidangamok> exposes the longing for patriarchy within a mass of the abnormal, portraying ghosts who exist in a state of perpetual yearning—belonging nowhere. Wrapped in flowing silk, they reenact their own entrapment, endlessly failing to escape.
The work captures the compression and inflation of bodies that have declared themselves queer, subjecting them to mechanical processes designed to restore them to normalcy—only to split them in half once again.
