having spent four years alongside survivors of sibling sexual violence, sima invokes "yoon"—a fictional character modeled after them—into the novella autumn play. by revealing the impact of the event through the speech of a survivor without directly describing the harm itself, the work questions the "proof of victim identity" that often follows victim-centered frameworks and identity politics:

4년동안 남매성폭력 생존자들과 지내며 그들과 닮은 가상의 인물 ‘윤’을 소설 <가을놀이> 속으로 인용했다. 피해의 직접적 서술 없는 피해자의 말하기를 통해 사건의 효과를 드러내고, 피해자 중심주의와 정체성 정치로 이어지는 ‘피해자 정체성의 증명’을 질문한다.

 I have collected the pill packets taken by survivors of sibling sexual violence for 4 years. Placing them in a transparent buoyant material, I struggle to keep them afloat for an hour in the Han River, a well-known site of suicide. Jokes about the many who have drowned, the genuine desire to die, and the desperate will to live—even after taking the pills—all merge into one, keeping me swimming, floundering, grasping.

남매성폭력 생존자들에게서 4년에 걸쳐 그들이 먹은 약봉지를 받아왔다. 봉지들을 투명한 부유물에 넣고 자살의 명소 한강에서 한시간 동안 그 위에 뜨기 위해 노력한다. 몰아치는 많은 이들의 죽음에 대한 농담과, 정말로 죽고 싶은 마음과, 약을 먹고서라도 꼭 살고 싶은 의지들이 한데 섞여 이시마를 계속 헤엄치고 바등거리게 한다.

Installation combining a 300-page text in a novel (or essay) format with its recorded narration. The audience lies in complete darkness, listening to approximately seven hours of reading.

As the lease on their apartment nears its end, Yoon, a survivor of sibling sexual violence, must return to their childhood home—where their brother still lives. Fifteen days before re-entering the house. Fifteen days after. Can Yoon survive—both from themselves and from their brother?

starting with 2022, where the last part of the diary was left empty with the note ‘after two years’, the text evolves into a growing archive as it is revisited and edited every two years. There are currently two editions - autumn nori(2022) and autumn nori(2024).

소설(에세이) 형식의 300페이지 텍스트와, 이를 낭독한 사운드가 결합된 설치이다. 관객은 완전한 암흑 속에 누워 7시간 가량의 낭독을 들어야 한다. 

자취방 계약이 끝나가는 남매성폭력 생존자 ‘윤’, 오빠가 살고 있는 본가로 들어가야 하는데. 집으로 들어가기 까지의 15일, 집으로 돌아간 후의 15일. 윤은 과연 스스로에게서, 오빠에게서 살아남을 수 있을까?

일기의 2년 후가 공백으로 남겨진 채 출판된 2022년을 시작으로 2년 단위로 수정, 출판을 반복하며 성장 아카이브로 변화하고 있다. 현재는 가을놀이(2022), 가을놀이(2024) 두 편이 있다.

 Eight participants each become "Yoon," residing in the exhibition space for four hours. They continuously write, converse with visitors, and even dance. They are Yoon, yet themselves at the same time. 가을놀이 (퍼포먼스)

8명의 일반인 참가자들이 각각 ‘윤’이 되어 전시장에 4시간동안 상주한다. 그들은 끊임없이 글을 쓰기도, 관람자들과 대화를 하기도, 춤을 추기도 한다. 그들은 동시에 윤이며, 또 자기 자신이기도 하다.
